12.20.16 - Chrysler 200

If you look at the Chrysler 200 it seems like an unassuming sedan that would fit in with other domestic names, but it has the build of an Italian brand to give it the European driving manners you want to enjoy. This car offers you the flexibility you want, the size you can admire and the build that makes it a car that you love to enjoy on the road. This is a car that comes to you at a great price and offers you actual performance with the Chrysler name on it.

Under the hood you can choose from two different engines that both provide you with good fuel mileage and a range of power that you’ll love. The first is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 184 horsepower and 173 lb.-ft. of torque. Both engines use a new nine-speed automatic transmission to give you smooth gear transitions and make it easy for you to enjoy the drive. With this smaller engine you’ll have the benefit of 23 city/36 hwy mpg. Moving up to the larger engine you’ll find a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine which provides 295 horsepower and 262 lb.-ft. of torque. With this powertrain you can choose either FWD or AWD and receive 19 city/31 hwy mpg in the FWD or 18 city/28 hwy mpg in the AWD version.

The standard equipment you’ll enjoy on the 200 include several airbags, the Uconnect infotainment system, a USB port, keyless entry, push button starting, an electronic parking brake, cruise control, a tilt/telescoping steering column, steering wheel audio controls, a 60/40 split rear bench seat and 17-inch wheels. The Touring trim adds the Uconnect 5.0 upgraded infotainment system and 17-inch alloy wheels while the Limited Platinum trim brings in power seats up front that are heated and covered in leather.

Moving up to the optional equipment you’ll enjoy the SafetyTec package that adds Advanced Braking Assistance, rain sensing windshield wipers, Full Speed Forward Collision Warning Plus, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Blind Spot Monitoring and Park Assist to give you the information you want to have when you drive. You can also choose the Navigation and Sound Group 1 which adds a navigation system, HD Radio and a larger 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen to the vehicle to give you more of what you want to enjoy when you drive your Chrysler 200.

With a large number of great items for this car, there are a couple that stand out for you. The AWD system of the 200 is intuitive and disconnects the rear axle electronically when AWD isn’t needed. This helps to give you better fuel mileage in this car over comparable AWD models. The interior of the Chrysler 200 is also one of the most impressive you’ll find in this class. You’ll certainly be impressed with the use of wood, leather, lighting and metal to give you the visual appearance you want to enjoy on the roads you drive on.

When you choose the 200 as your car to drive you’re not just choosing a typical family sedan but a car that has a premium feeling to it to give you the benefit of improved equipment that make it easy for you to have the ride you want to enjoy. For 2017 there are two new packages added to the Chrysler 200, the Dark Appearance package on the Touring trim which gives you 18-inch gloss black wheels and outside trim and the Alloy Edition which gives you a sport suspension, optional AWD and the dark bronze titanium finishes you want to enjoy.

The Chrysler 200 is still one of the highest quality cars you can drive when you want the feeling of better equipment at a price that remains affordable. You want this car to be a great performer for you and it can be. With the number of trim levels and features you can have on the 200 you’ll quickly and easily love the way this car feels and want to drive it on a daily basis.
