The new Ram lineup is coming to the market and that’s not been any form of a secret over the past few months and years. The 2019 model year is the target for the Ram 1500 to make sure you can have a vehicle that will be ready for the drive you want for the ride you’ll have on the roads in your area and for the work that makes a lot of sense for the drive. The HD version of this truck is also expected to be offered to make sure you can have a truck that can offer more power for the work you do on a daily basis.
Even though the Ram lineup is expected to be upgraded to give us more truck for the drive, the HD model has been pushed back by a year to make sure the team can offer us the Ram 1500 in 2019 as planned. Because of this, it’s been a rare sight to see the new Ram HD mules testing on the roads, but we’ve finally been giving a look at some spy photos that show this truck heavily covered in camouflage, but able to offer us the drive and the power we want.
What do we expect for this new truck?
There are still a lot of unanswered questions when it comes to the new workhorse of the Ram lineup which is the HD lineup of trucks, but what we expect is an engine lineup that would make sure we have the power needed to get the job done, no matter what that job happens to be. The ride you’re looking for when you need to get work done can be this impressive Ram truck lineup that can have what you’re looking for.
It’s possible the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 could be dropped from the engine lineup which would leave the only gasoline engine offered on the Ram 2500HD you can choose from for the drive as the 6.4-liter Hemi V8 model for the ride. There is also still expected to be the 6.7-liter Cummins inline six-cylinder diesel engine that can provide you with as much as 1,000 lb.-ft. of torque which would be an upgrade over the previous 900 that was offered for the low-end power you need. Unfortunately, none of this information can be confirmed and we won’t know exactly what we have for the drive until it shows up as a concept or a production model offered at one of the shows.
We can continue to look and understand what we have for the drive you’re looking for when you want to have the drive you need for the work you need to get done. The Ram trucks that are offered in the future will make sure we have the models needed to ensure we can have the right way to drive from 2019 onward. The HD models will arrive in 2020 and we’re going to see an impressive amount of power and performance needed for the ride to and from the jobsites.
