Upgrades for the Jeep Cherokee

It never ceases to amaze me how much automakers change their models on an annual basis. No matter what the vehicle is unless it’s about to be axed, every model receives some form of improvements in order to be better and modern for the driving experience we’re looking for when it’s time for the drive we want. It’s a good thing every model receives some form of improvement because if they didn’t we might run out of things to discuss. With that in mind, the new Jeep Cherokee has been seen testing with some upgrades we’re going to be ready to enjoy.
What is getting ready to be added to the Jeep Cherokee? As the compact SUV that’s small and smooth on the road while also offering a dynamic drive on the trails, the Cherokee is a vehicle that fits the family and offers the ride that’s right for you to experience what you want on a daily drive. The changes that are going to be added to this SUV include the Trailhawk model that is the one that sits at the top of the lineup for this impressive SUV that you’re going to what to drive on the road.

Upgrading an Excellent Performer

The recent spy shots that were caught of the new 2019 version of the Jeep Cherokee saw camouflage being worn across the front to try and hide the new look and the style offered. This tells us we’re going to see this model offered with the slight redesign to the build which will be shared across all models of the Cherokee. In addition to a new front fascia, this SUV will have new taillights and an upgraded rear bumper. We should also see this model lose the narrow headlights up front to give us a more traditional set of LED lights for the drive.

The new Cherokee will also receive some improvements under the hood in order to have the quality drive needed. This new model will receive the same 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that has made its way to the new JL model of the Jeep Wrangler. This engine makes 275 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. for the drive needed. There is also a potential for a 3.2-liter V6 that has a start-stop system and the fuel economy you’re looking for. The current 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine will also be offered at the lower engine of the spectrum while the nine-speed automatic transmission will show up in this SUV.

The new Jeep Cherokee made its debut at the 2018 North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January of 2018. This gave us an amazing look and feel for the drive that will be great for the ride we’re looking for so that we can have a vehicle that will be perfect for us to experience what we want. The new Cherokee is a family SUV that can offer you the qualities you want and the Jeep personality that makes a lot of sense for you when you drive.
