The challenge can come in the timing of month and with the new 2018 model of the Hyundai Tucson heading to dealerships, this Korean brand has high expectations for this particular model. The new Tucson will arrive with upgrades that make a difference and allow us to have what we want for the drive more than what we’ve had in the past. With these modern upgrades, the new Tucson is going to be a vehicle that has the connectivity and driving qualities desired.

What are you looking for when you shop for an SUV that will be right for you to have the drive you want? If you’re searching for an SUV that gives you items that include a seven-inch audio display screen, Android Auto, Apple Car Play, and SiriusXM Satellite Radio, the new Tucson is the one that will give you these things and make the drive better for you. There are a few different trim levels where you’ll find some of these items as standard fare to make it the right one for you to drive.

More of what you desire

A few changes have taken place making it obvious that when you compare Hyundai Tucson vs the Competition, the clear winner is hands down this exceptional crossover SUV. This year for Tucson the SE marches on as the base model while the SE Popular Equipment package is now the SEL trim, the SE Plus has been renamed the SEL Plus, and the Value and Limited trims will continue on into the new lineup. The Eco and Night trims have been discontinued to make this a lineup that’s streamlined a bit to offer us the choices and packages that make a lot of sense for your drive.
In the Value trim, you’ll have the Hyundai Display Audio system as part of the standard fare. The Blue Link Connected Care, Remote Services & Guidance system is included in the Value, SEL Plus, and Limited trims to give you the connected features you want and the navigation that will help you get where you need to go. Other items you’ll be glad to see in this SUV include heated front seats, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and the YES Essentials fabric seats that make this a vehicle that is perfect for you to travel with young children wherever you need to go.
There are two engines you’ll be able to choose for the drive you want to make in the Hyundai Tucson with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that brings 164 horsepower and 151 lb.-ft. of torque or a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that increases the power to 175 horsepower and 195 lb.-ft. of torque. These two engines make use of a seven-speed EcoShift dual clutch transmission to make sure you can have the smooth shifting you want. As this new version of the Tucson arrives at dealerships over the next few weeks, we’ll learn more about what this SUV will cost if it’s the one you want to enjoy driving on a daily basis.
