More of What You Want for the Drive

More of What You want for the Drive

When you look at the Chevrolet Cruze Hatchback model you might wonder why it took so long for any automaker to create a hatchback out of a sedan that was this size. The Cruze is the third smallest car in the Chevrolet lineup and it wasn’t built as a hatchback for many years but maybe it should have been. Thankfully, the Cruze is now offered as a hatchback that can be perfect for you to have the drive you want and the cargo area that can be perfect for you when you want to head out on the road.
The Chevrolet Cruze hatchback model is one that you can drive and enjoy with a choice of engines under the hood with the new 1.6-liter turbocharged diesel four-cylinder engine for the drive that is attached to the nine-speed automatic transmission to make sure you can have as much as 53 mpg when you drive. If you don’t want the diesel engine, you can also choose the 1.4-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine that provides you with 153 horsepower and 177 lb.-ft. of torque. This engine uses a six-speed automatic transmission and offers you 28 city/37 hwy mpg to have an efficient model on the road.

As a car that’s become a global icon on the road since it was introduced in 2008, we’ve seen 3.5 million Cruze models sold. This gave Chevrolet the creative license to be able to change this car and create a hatchback model that will be the one that can carry all your gear and be a versatile model on the road. In order to make this car a real possibility, the Cruze lost a ton of weight and became a stronger version of what it had been in the past.

What Makes this a Special Car to Drive

There is more room for you to have the ability to carry with you whatever you’re looking to take with you. If you’ve seen the original ads for this car you’ll see it has a surfboard sticking out the back and a cavernous area. This is one of the most impressive aspects of turning a car of this size in to a hatchback that has up to 25 cubic feet of storage space behind the rear seats and more than 47 cubic feet when the seats are folded down with a nearly flat folded floor for the load you need to take with you.

Even though this is a hatchback, when the seats are up, your rear seat passengers will have plenty of room for the drive you make on the road. In the higher trim levels, you can have leather upholstery for the surfaces to allow you to have the comfort you’re looking for. There are hard plastics around the cabin to make this a vehicle that’s affordable, but those hard plastics are nicely placed to be enjoyable and placed the way you want them to be for the drive you need to make.

Quality Features for the Drive

If you want the top model of the lineup for the Cruze Hatchback you’re going to choose the Premier model and have the benefit of items that include keyless entry, push-button starting, leather upholstery, and 17-inch aluminum wheels. If you add the Enhanced Convenience Package you’ll have the benefit of an auto-dimming rearview mirror and wireless charging. The Driver Convenience II Package adds automatic high beams, lane keeping assist, and forward collision alerts for the drive desired on the road. You’ll have the benefits of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for your ride which gives you the connectivity you’re looking for.

When you know you want to have the ride on the roads in a compact car, why not make it the largest one with a hatchback build in the class? The Chevrolet Cruze Hatchback has more of what you’re looking for to make sure you can have the drive and the performance you want to experience out on the road. This is a car that offers a smooth performance, spacious interior, the fuel efficiency you want, and a quiet cabin to make sure you can have the drive that’s right for you on the road.
