Price Cuts for the Family of 2019 GM SUVs

2019 Chevrolet Traverse

Even though the crossover SUV market is the strongest one in the automotive world right now, GM SUV are going to be getting a noticeable price cut in 2019.
This means you could pay less and drive the Chevrolet, Buick or GMC model SUV that you know and love. Another possibility is that you could pay the same but add more features and step up to a higher trim, which makes it easy for you to enjoy the ride more than you have in the past.

Making Shopping Easier for the Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC SUVs

One of the challenges of shopping for any vehicle is when you’re faced with an increase in price to move up the trim list and choose a higher mode. If a higher trim is offered with features you don’t want, you have to weigh the decision between price and qualities you do want to have. Thankfully, GM has changed this aspect of the shopping for you so that you can have an easier shopping experience when you choose the Chevrolet Equinox, Chevrolet Traverse, Buick Encore, Buick Enclave, GMC Acadia, and GMC Terrain.

Take a Look at Some of the Price Changes

The mid-level Chevrolet Equinox 3LT trim is reduced by $1,200. This reduction in price removes the Driver Confidence Package, and if you want some of the features from this package in the new model you’re going to still be able to choose them. The 1LZ trim of the Equinox also sees a discount in price with some features removed that you can still opt for, but aren’t required to have when you choose this SUV for the drive. These changes make the Equinox more affordable for you and allow you to have the features you want without paying for what you don’t want.
If you choose the Traverse LT the price has been reduced by $2,700 with some items that will be optional including the 20-inch machined wheels, the 10-speaker Bose audio system, the surround view monitor, and the navigation system are all optional. The GMC models that will be changed are the SLT and SLT-1 trims of both the Terrain and Acadia which will both be offered at $500 less than before but won’t lose any equipment in order to make this change happen.
Looking to the Buick brand, the Encore will no longer be offed in the Premium trim and the most expensive model will now be offered at a price that’s been discounted by $1,300. The features that were in the Premium trim can now be found in the Essence trim. For the Enclave, the Essence trim will be reduced by a full $2,300 for the drive you want to enjoy.
