What’s New on the 2024 Buick Envision?

What's New on the 2024 Buick Envision

The 2024 Buick Envision should be at your Buick dealer soon. For the 2024 model year, the Buick Envision has a few updates, including new technology and a bold styling change. The Envision comes in three trims, with the base trim starting at $34,900, and all trims have AWD.

New For 2024

If you’re interested in a new Buick, giving the 2024 Envision another look is worth it. The current generation was launched in 2021, but Buick added some big changes to the 2024 model. These changes include refreshed styling with an updated grille, hood, and front fascia. Inside, you can expect the Buick Envision to offer a new digital gauge cluster behind the steering wheel. It’s also the first North American Buick model to feature GM’s Super Cruise hands-free driving system. Currently, the 2024 model is using the 8 or 10.2-inch touchscreen, but this might get upgraded in the near future.

How To Choose a Buick Envision

The Buick Envision only comes in three trims. As you might expect, the midrange Essence trim offers the right balance of features and price. It’s estimated to start at $39,000 and includes amenities like 18-inch wheels, a power-operated liftgate, and heated front seats. If you want more premium aesthetics, you can also add the optional Sport Touring package, which upgrades to 20-inch wheels and adds dark exterior trim.

For a premium luxury experience, the top Avenir trim is the one to choose. This trim starts at $48,000 and includes even more premium features. Only one engine comes with the Envision, no matter which model you choose at your Buick dealer. It’s a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that makes 228 horsepower and pairs with a nine-speed automatic transmission. FWD is the standard layout, but AWD is available on all trims.

The fuel economy on the Envision fluctuates depending on whether you choose AWD or FWD. For the most efficient Envision, the FWD layout is the one to get as it manages 31 MPG on the highway and 23 MPG in the city. The AWD models take a slight drop to 29 MPG on the highway and 22 MPG in the city.

Interior Design

The Buick Envision’s interior is quite luxurious, as you might expect. The two lower trims have many standard features, but the Avenir trim brings out heated and ventilated front seats, quilted leather upholstery, and a massage chair driver’s seat. The cabin has roughly the same passenger space as it previously did, but the cargo space is slightly lessened thanks to the shorter length of the 2024 models.

Smartphone connectivity should be standard on all models. A Wi-Fi hotspot is also likely to be standard. The Envision features a six-speaker audio system on the base model, seven speakers on the Essence trim, and a nine-speaker system for the Avenir trim. In-dash navigation is standard on the Avenir trim as well.

The 2024 Buick Envision is definitely worth another look if you’re interested in a premium SUV. Keep an eye out for it at your Buick dealer soon.
