Nissan is a brand that found its way to making the same truck for too many years and recently created the second generation of the Nissan Titan.
The truck market is extremely competitive and there are at least three names that seem to take the lead in sales and performance. Unfortunately, it seems the Titan was offered with at least one omission that we make more use of when we drive on the roads today. With the advancements made in technology, the need to have everything desired in the infotainment system is now a requirement.
The Titan Now Offers More of What’s Needed
The Nissan Titan offers us an infotainment system that didn’t give us the benefits of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in the past. This meant that you had to use the Bluetooth connectivity offered in order to connect your smartphone in the past. This was an old way of connecting to the infotainment system and it has become outdated quickly. Thankfully, the new 2019 version of the Nissan infotainment system will have the connectivity of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and it will offer this connectivity as part of the standard system in the truck.
That’s Not All the Upgrades for the Titan
The Nissan Titan of 2019 will also bring us the benefits of an upgraded sound system. The King Cab and Crew Cab models will offer a 485-watt system from Panasonic and Fender that will have ten speakers in the King Cab and twelve in the Crew Cab models. This new system will be standard on all Crew Cab SL and Platinum trims and an option for the Pro-4X model with either a King Cab or a Crew Cab for the drive that you’re going to want to enjoy.
The Upgrades Make Sense, but They Make the Price Go Up
We want to have a better sound system, and we want to have the connectivity features that make it easier to connect and drive, but these improvements do have a direct effect on the price of the vehicle. The Titan S with the Regular Cab in 2WD with the gasoline V8 engine will cost $360 more than in the past. The Titan XD S with the same cab and powertrain will see a bump of $380 in the price while the diesel model will see an increase of $430 compared to the 2018 version.
