The Geneva Motor Show is akin to a fashion show in Milan or Paris where the very best and most impressive items are shown off. This is where supercars come to be presented to the world and with Europe being the world hub for supercars it’s no wonder so many flock to the center of the continent to be displayed. Even though there are numerous cars offered at this show that most of the world will never be able to afford, there are still several that are available as affordable cars which can be owned by just about any customer. Let’s look at a few of these models and enjoy what most of us can actually drive.

Fiat 124 Spider AbarthThe Abarth name signifies a car that will act like it has manners at first and then show you the wild side in a heartbeat. this car has received a great deal of interesting performance upgrades all around to make it a more powerful and impressive version of a car that we love to enjoy. This car is expected to be priced around $43,000 when the Abarth name is attached, which isn’t bad at all for an Italian car with the upgrades this car does have on it.

Hyundai IoniqWhile Hyundai is taking aim at the Prius with tree new models the Ioniq is one of the three that will make those who love a hybrid smile. This car is offered as a hybrid, a plug in hybrid or as a full EV. The fuel numbers have not been revealed as of yet, but the car is expected to get more than 50 mpg on the hwy and come at a price you can afford. The expected price will be near $25,000 and with the federal tax credits you could see and Ioniq for less than $20,000.

Toyota C-HRThis SUV has been around the block and back as a few concept versions and now finally a production model. The new production model does thankfully keep much of the same elements we admired on the concept versions to be a compact crossover that will be enjoyable on any road. This SUV will be a gas and a hybrid model to give us the choices we have come to expect from Toyota and the expected starting price for the C-HR is somewhere near the $25,000 mark.

Ford Fiesta S200When you want to have a fun to drive hatchback this is the car to choose. This hot hatch has some performance improvements over the ST. With a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 197 horsepower and 214 lb.-ft. of torque the new S200 is a car that is the hot hatch that takes the next right step over the ST. The new look of this car is exciting as well and if this look makes its way to North America Ford lovers are going to flock to the dealerships for this highly affordable hot hatch that is easy to love.

Honda Civic Hatchback PrototypeEven though this is called the prototype the word is out that the new Civic Hatchback will look extremely similar to this car. The Civic has always been an affordable car for us to enjoy and for four decades it has been the bargain sports car for us to love. This car is to be powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that gives it more than enough power to be just right for this lightweight performance machine. This is what the Civic is all about and when it finally comes to market this car is going to sell faster than most that have ever come before it.
