Middle of the lineup models seem to be more popular than ever and the new Honda HR-V is no exception. Features that are expected to be offered on the 2016 HR-V include heated seats, a power sunroof, a navigation system, Smart Entry/Push Button Starting, a Display Audio telematics interface with a 7.0-inch touchscreen, Sirius XM, HD Radio, Honda Digital Traffic, Honda LaneWatch and leather trimmings. Having these premium style touches is available for you if you choose the EX or EX-L trim levels. The standard equipment for the LX starts with a multifunction steering wheel with tilt/telescoping, Bluetooth HandsFreeLink and Pandora radio. With these features aboard, the small but fierce HR-V can be a fantastic ride for anyone who loves a great small vehicle to drive.
The interior will not only boast a long list of awesome technology, but also offer up a full array of piano black surfaces that are offset by brushed-chrome highlights. These offsetting colors and textures allow the HR-V to have an upscale look that give the feeling of a higher level vehicle than it really is for all owners to enjoy. The HR-V is fitted with a reconfigurable second row seat which is called the “Magic Seat” to increase the cargo space from 24.3 cubic feet to 58.8 cubic feet which is larger than most SUVs.
The HR-V isn’t just a middle of the line vehicle that will offer cool features but no safety, it’s expected to receive the highest mark from NHTSA and IIHS. The added safety of this vehicle includes the use of Hill Start Assist, a Multi-Angle Rearview Camera and a full menu of airbags. This versatile vehicle will make a great choice for anyone who needs a vehicle that offers some decent room, but don’t need the added size of the CR-V.
