This engine can be attached to either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission which means you have fuel mileage numbers of 30 city/39 hwy mpg for the manual or 32 city/40 hwy mpg with the automatic.
The new Yaris iA has been called many things but boring has not been one of them. The power numbers might feel low, but this setup with the engine and the Mazda sourcing makes it much easier to understand how this car could use this power and still feel as aggressive on the road as it does.
