Which Chevy Silverado Has Leather Seats?

Chevy Silverado

Leather seats are a great feature in any vehicle. They’re durable, they look nice, and they’re often more comfortable than cloth or faux leather seats. If you’re looking at a Chevy Silverado for sale, you might be wondering which trim offers leather seats as a standard feature or as an option.

Let’s take a look at the last six years of Silverado models.

2021 Chevy Silverado Trims With Leather Seats

If you’re considering a 2021 Chevy Silverado for sale with leather seats, the mid-level LT trim offers an available Leather Package that includes leather seats. This trim starts at $41,195 MSRP before you add any packages to it. Moving up to the LTZ trim will get you leather seats as a standard feature, but the price difference is nearly $10,000.

2020 Chevy Silverado Trims With Leather Seats

The 2020 Chevy Silverado has the same basic trim lineup as the 2021 Silverado. Like the 2021 model, the 2020 Silverado gives you the option of leather seats with its LT trim. The next level of RST trim builds on the LT and offers the same packages, including the Leather Package. If you want leather seats as a standard feature, then the LTZ trim is where to start. The top trim in the High Country also offers standard leather seats.

2019 Chevy Silverado Trims With Leather Seats

Similar to the 2020 and 2021 Chevy Silverado models for sale, the 2019 model offers leather seats as an option on the LT trim. For leather seats as standard equipment, you’ll need to move up to the LTZ or High Country top trims, but the price is quite a bit more than just adding them as an option.

2018 Chevy Silverado Trims With Leather Seats

The 2018 Chevy Silverado had a slightly different trim lineup as the RST trim wasn’t added yet and there were two Z71 trims attached to the LT and LTZ trims respectively. Getting standard leather seats on this model year of Silverado required moving up to the LTZ trim. The LTZ also had a standard V8 engine for this model year. Getting the standard V8 is generally the reason many drivers spend the extra money for the LTZ trim vs LT.

2017 Chevy Silverado Trims With Leather Seats

Going back to the 2017 Chevy Silverado, you’ll once again find that the easiest way to get leather seats is to opt for the LTZ or High Country trims. There are other advantages to these trims too like the standard V8 engine in both trims and the premium Bose sound system in the High Country.

2016 Chevy Silverado Trims With Leather Seats

If your search for the right Chevy Silverado for sale leads you back to the 2016 model, your choice of trims for leather seats are the same as in 2017. The LTZ, LTZ Z71, and High Country trims offer leather seats. The V8 engine was also available standard on these trims.

When it comes to getting leather seats on a new Chevy Silverado for sale, the best value can be found in the most recent models with the LT trim and Leather Package option.
