If you’re looking for used cars that offer some of the benefits of a new car, you might be considering shopping for a certified pre-owned vehicle. CPO programs are more popular than ever, but not every program is created equal. Here’s a look at some of the best CPO programs for 2025.
The Kia CPO: Affordable and Full of Added Benefits
No matter which way you look at it, the Kia CPO program is one of the best out there. Not only does it provide bumper-to-bumper coverage for up to 72,000 miles or six years, but it also has a new vehicle warranty that lasts for 10 years or 100,000 miles.
Some added benefits you get with Kia CPO used cars include travel interruption reimbursement and 24-hour roadside assistance. All Kia CPO vehicles have to pass a 165-point inspection before they can be part of the certified pre-owned program.
The Honda CPO: One of the Best in the Biz
When you find used cars that are part of the Honda CPO program, you know you’re getting something reliable. It comes with a warranty that lasts for five years or up to 60,000 from the original purchase date, and it has a powertrain warranty that extends the original warranty to seven years or 100,000 miles.
If you need any repairs that are covered by the warranty, you don’t have to pay any deductible, and your vehicle will come with two free oil changes and 24-hour roadside assistance.
Peace of Mind with the Acura CPO Program
If you’re looking for a CPO vehicle with comprehensive coverage, take a closer look at Acura. The warranty lasts for two years or up to 100,000 miles, which gives you a total of six years of warranty coverage. You also get an extra year of powertrain warranty coverage.
Acura offers extra perks with their CPO vehicles, too. You’ll get roadside assistance for free as part of the program and a free maintenance appointment. Bring your CPO in for an oil change, tire rotation, or brake fluid check and replacement, and you can drive away without having to pay a dime. If you run into car problems while away from home, Acura will reimburse you for up to $300 a day for three days.
BMW CPO Vehicles – Some Unique Benefits
The luxury car market has several good CPO programs, and while BMW does not stand out because of any extra warranty coverage, it does offer some unique benefits. The roadside assistance coverage does not run out with the warranty; you can use this coverage for six years. This, combined with the 50,000-mile, four-year original warranty and the one-year CPO warranty, and your certified pre-owned BMW will have longer roadside assistance coverage than a new one.
All BMW CPO vehicles have less than 60,000 miles on the odometer, and it must pass a 360-point vehicle inspection in order to become part of the CPO program.
